As the only practitioner of biographical coaching in South Africa, Dr Janin’s unique approach combines organisational development, medical and industrial sociology and biographical counselling to provide individuals and groups with the inspiration and energy for a purposeful journey into the future.
Interaction with clients may take the form of individual coaching sessions, group consultations, workshops, or speaking engagements; and many have found her latest book “A Lifetime of Personal Power” (second edition) helpful in navigating the challenges and opportunities inherent in each life stage. This book is available as an e-book and in paperback on Amazon.
In addition to the above publication, Dr Janin is the author of two additional scholarly Cahiers: “Leaders on the Bridge to Tomorrow” and “A Lifetime of Personal Power” (first edition).
After pioneering biographical research and coaching in Flanders, Dr Janin settled in South Africa where she provides career, life and leadership coaching; working both with teams and individuals. She has developed original coaching resources, such as her manual “My Career. Past, Present, Future”.
As an academic service provider, she offers training and mentoring in the essential aspects of qualitative research (An Intro into the Qualitative Paradigm, Defining Research Questions, In-Depth Interviewing and Focus Groups, Coding and Analysing Data). Her office also offers editing of thesis and scientific articles. To heighten accessibility, Dr Janin developed the training manual “An Introduction to Qualitative Research Methodology”.
