Make a Video clip – Team building exercise!
AAA Conference – 18 to 19 May 2023
Teams will be expected to shoot a video clip with the mobile phone/s (cell phone) of a member/s of the team. The team details can be downloaded here.
Rules
- The video clip may not be shorter than 1 minute and no longer than 3 minutes.
- It must have sound with it, be it a narrator, a singer, a choir, or other sound effects.
- The teams may shoot the video on any topic – it may be in the form of a commercial (ad), a funny, a short drama, a musical (song), a travel scene, a short concert, a dance, action, or any other topic.
- Points will be awarded for originality, the number of team members participating in the video, appropriateness of the scene/background of the video, and the sound recording.
- Teams may shoot their video on any part of the terrain of Emperors Palace or in any building where guests are allowed within Emperors.
- Teams will be allowed 45 to 50 minutes in which to complete their video.
- On completion, please send your video clip to the following email address: stephandup1956@gmail.com to reach it at the latest by 17:15.
- Hereafter, the adjudication panel will evaluate all the videos, where each member of the panel will award a mark out of 10 for each video, the marks awarded by each member will be added, and the team with the highest marks will win the prizes at the gala dinner.
Instructions
- Allocation of teams will be displayed on the entrance doors.
- Teams to gather at the alphabetic sign of the team to which they have been allocated.
- Teams will then be expected to plan and brainstorm on what kind of video clip they want to make and where they want to shoot it – decide on whose mobile phone will be used, who will be acting in the video clip, who will be directing the shoot, etc.
- Please remember that you only have 45 to 50 minutes.
