Mr Tsholofelo Nkoane is a Certified Office Manager, accredited by the Office Professional Association of South Africa, and a seasoned academic and public sector administrator with a strong focus on operational excellence and digital transformation. He currently serves as Departmental Administrator at the University of Pretoria, where he co-led the successful international re-endorsement of the BCom Information Systems programme and the endorsement of the BIT in Information Systems by the USA-based ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
With extensive experience in academic administration and public sector operations, Tsholofelo oversees examination processes, marks administration, and student support from undergraduate to master’s level. He previously held key administrative and stakeholder engagement roles at the Municipal Demarcation Board and Optimi (ITSI).
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from Milpark Education and a Master of Business Administration from Richfield Graduate Institute of Technology. His MBA dissertation, titled “Evaluating the Role of the Information Regulator in Governing AI-Powered Proctoring in South African Higher Education Institutions,” reflects his deep interest in governance, technology, and higher education excellence.
